Nature is my friend
I love my hair. I am very proud of how I style my hair. I need the right kind of product to compliment my hair otherwise it akes it a pain to style and control. Unnatural products tend to react very poorly to my hair so for me I only take the best; all natural products. My girlfriend didn’t believe me about what I put in my hair so I took her into my “beauty shop” (my bathroom) and gave her hair a complete workout. She absolutely looooved what i did and she couldn’t believe how well the natural hair care product complimented her hair. One down… the world to go!

Different in a Cosmetic Way
My mother said to me today, “you know, being pretty doesn’t mean you have to cake on foundation, piles of eyemakeup, and a load of mascara.” It sort of hit me how obsessive and compulsive I am about looing perfect. I love MAC makeup. I can’t help it. Sure, it is a healthy hobby, but I go further than that. I go too deep w. it. I need to change or at least alter my ego.

Makeup Tips
I am obsessed with giving makeup tips. I also am a great writer (as you allll know). Soooo I’m going to start my own column in our highschool paper. I will be interviewing makeup artists and will be asking for their own makeup advice. Woo!

Barbie Crew Lost
I kicked my best friend off our “Barbie” crew. Sort of because she started dating my boyfriend. Her makeup looks terrible though, I don’t want any part in her friendship if she is going to wear brown eyeliner when she clearly cannot pull it off.

Halloween Costumes
I’m going to be a Barbie Doll for Halloween. Surprised? I know…its typical. But I have the cosmetics for it. I just bought light pink lipgloss and really cute blue eyeliner. Combined, I will look like Barbie. I have the blonde highlights and the bright pink jumpsuit. I am so excited! My friends are going to be Barbies too.

Introduction
Hello,
I’m Catherine, a makeup-aholic and a senior in highschool. My friends and I are called the “Barbiedolls,” because I guess you could say that we shop a bit too much, try a little too hard to look perfect, and always go to school w/ a full set of curls. Yeah, I guess it isn’t something to be too proud of. But I like looking made up. It has been my goal since the 3rd grade when I was made fun of by the girls that are now my friends. Ha, ironic, right?
I am a blonde. Not a real one, of course. I bleach my hair, but no one really knows that. I am obsessed with blue and grey eyeshadows. I absolutely HATE anything green, so don’t even try buying me those shades. I love other types of cosmetics like red lipstick and pink glitter gloss. Again, I HATE brown shades of gloss, so again, please avoid.
That is all for now. Just trying to give a little intro.
